Spirit of Ecstacy

Supposedly modelled on Baron Montagu's lover by the sculptor, Charles Sykes. Montagu commissioned the piece as a personal mascot on his Silver Ghost. The supposed model didn't make old bones, she died at the age of 35 when the ship she was travelling on (with Montagu) was torpedoed by a U-boat in 1915 - he survived.

This car was decked out for a wedding, it was proper old but I have no idea what model. He was parked in Sainsbury's car park, I'd guess he was avoiding being too early to a job.
