Tasting Lavender

These taters were amazing @Learners_Forum, I especially enjoyed the nature, wellbeing and climate change ones and the play on words-thanks Rothsay Acting Up group. The little lavender plant as a takeaway was great-thanks gardeners’ group for them.

Lavender flowers represent purity, silence, devotion, serenity, grace, and calmness. Purple is the colour of royalty and speaks of elegance, refinement, and luxury. Purple is also associated with the crown chakra, which is the energy centre associated with higher purpose and spiritual connectivity. It has been shown to improve spatial memory deficits induced by dysfunction of the cholinergic system and research has shown that administration of lavender in animal model of Alzheimer's disease effectively reversed spatial learning deficits.

All those aromatherapy classes will have benefits longer-term-let’s get sharing.

Earlier research sources for lavender say it’s powerful in attracting good luck, or possibly repelling misfortune, and is associated with St. John Day where it was burned in bonfires when evil spirits were said to walk among men.

“Lavender is known for its ability to calm the nervous system, lift the mood and even lower blood pressure,” says Dr. Lin. “Research links lavender usage to less anxiety and depression" - so along with that massage class it’ll keep you balance for a week.

Need to get more planted for next year.
