A Day In The Life

Harvest Time

A colorful lineup of some of the garden goodies we picked today • I blipped these three pumpkins earlier this week but they were still on the vine. The spaghetti squash is a “volunteer”, a freebie, likely grown from a seed from our compost. The large tomato is a German Striped heirloom variety. It’s our first one and we can’t wait to eat it tonight! For size contrast I’ve included two of our cherry tomatoes. There’s also a mystery item, another volunteer. We have no idea what it is. It looks like a cross between a zucchini and a cucumber but it’s definitely a squash of some kind. Any guesses? Our compost may have created a one of a kind hybrid! • It’s been a lovely Saturday here, a Goldilocks kind of day, Just Right! • Peace & Love & Squash :)
