Scorcher

Another hot day! Nothing too remarkable in the moth trap this morning, so I was pleased when Mr PB drew my attention to this Holly Blue in the herb garden. I have put a Lime-speckled Pug in extras. I don’t usually bother with Pugs as they are so hard to identify but this one is very distinctive.
Looks as if the woodland over the opposite side of the valley is on fire, which is a big worry.
