Inverewe Gardens

FIrst, while I remember - I added a couple of extras to yesterday's blip, The middles of nowhere and Shenaval bothy.
Neither of us slept particularly well last night, I find my legs don't want to relax properly and the head is still buzzing, but at least we didn't have to get up early.
We had a pottering sort of day with a wander round Inverewe Gardens and watching the mist clear from the loch (extra) and a trip to the end of the road at Mellon Charles. There we took a short walk to some WWII remains and just missed seeing a calf being born.
Lunch at the Perfume Studio and some wonderful smelling toilettries bought then another wander along a woodland trail before returning to our B&B - though we had to go out again to get some food for tea. We sat in the car eating it while watching clouds rise from the mountains across the bay after a short spell of rain - magical.
