A busy day

It was a busy day and so I couldn’t choose a single photo.

My main collage is the original Mast General Store. You see the white painted front with its original Esso sign but I had to show you the back that shows all the charm and character!

They have lots of displays showing things that were sold there “back in the day” and it continues to be a working Post Office. Its Coca-Cola coolers filled with bottles of soda are a sight to see as are some of the more interesting items they sell.

We spent time at Grandfather Mountain and had to cross the mile high swinging bridge.

I sat on the patio at the Wilson Center where they have some hummingbird feeders that are frequented by several hummingbirds.

Their “pollinators garden” was under going some renovations but there were still plenty of bees and a couple of butterflies.
