Timing Is Everything

Some lads were cruising in a very powerful boat with loud music. The wake was significant, I assume intentionally so those being towed behind could ride on the surf.

I decided long exposures to be the order of the day, given it was overcast. I chose three of the same scene at different shutter speeds: 2 seconds, 7.5 seconds and 1/20 for my triptych. In the longest one, the reeds moved about dramatically.

I think each works on its own, but I'm not so sure now about the triptych.

Also posted a catch up for yesterday: By The Cottonwoods.
