Last night of North Berwick’s Fringe by the Sea and what a finale. The RSNO playing the movie themes of John Williams. You forget how many he has done. First half we trumped through Superman, Hook, the beautiful Schindler’s List and Jurassic Park Awww break to watch the rain storm and then the second half fully dedicated to Star Wars with the encore a rousing Indiana Jones.The breadth of his music and instruments involved is truly incredible, you just can’t compute the complexity of his music and how you even start and produce so prolific and diverse a back catalogue. Not bad for 91 and still composing.
Fabulous night but sad to see my annual pretend I live in NB over.
