There goes the neighbourhood

Evening all

Our usually sleepy little hollow was rocked with an overnight arson attack on the van pictured (obviously)

I'm often awake most of the night, and according to when the incident took place (about 0200) I was wide awake. .

Never heard a thing,

not a crackle of fire, a whump of an explosion, a clatter of engine parts, the drone of the fire engine nor the animated chatter of the assembled neighbours who had roused from their sleep and rallied round to help..

Allowing for the fact I'm pretty sure I'm not a sleep arsonist, there is only one logical conclusion to be reached......

I've gone deaf!!!!!!
