Men in orange

Early start. Routine mammogram at Poole Hospital. Once you’ve found your way through the labyrinth inside, everyone is so lovely and friendly. A volunteer sprung to assist finding my way. A delight compared to my experience of London hospitals.

Wandered round the Dolphin Centre, Primark, H&M. Fancied a vegan sausage roll from Greggs (they are addictive), but there was a queue about 20 deep. The Network Rail workers agreed to pose for me - couldn’t miss that splash of orange.


Bus home. Watched Countdown etc. Went out for a ½ hour before Ocado delivery. Got extremely warm & muggy. Now 21:50 and enjoying a cool breeze. Maybe we’ll wake up to heavy rain and thunderstorms in the morning.
