An afternoon in Aden

We are fortunate in having Aden Park on our doorstep. Amongst many other attractions it hosts the Aberdeenshire Museum of Farming, a crafts shop, cafe and The Book of Deer project. Hubby and I are volunteers with the project and today was our turn to staff the project room. Unfortunately the blustery day meant the park was fairly short of visitors and no-one came by to find out more about the wonderful little book that is one of the most important Scottish medieval manuscripts, and was written close by the park in the 10th century.
