Cairn and …

….. thyme.

I drove to the Kawarau Suspension Bridge area and went foraging, for thyme. There are thousands of bushes there, growing wild.
I’ve been using a lot in my cooking lately, and with my little bush looking skeletal it was thyme (haha) to do something about it. I came home with a bagful, plus about 6 little plants to add to my vegetable garden.
The smell is divine! Missy stayed close, just as well as we were just above the KawarauRiver gorge - where the Bungee Jumping happens.
We did see a couple of jumps but the photo isn’t worth posting.
The tall cairn was close-by; quite intriguing to wonder why it was there. Maybe someone built it for fun.
Such a beautiful day, warm and cloudless.
