My beloved Oslo - Queer Culture Year

In 2022 it's 50 years since the decriminalization of homosexuality in Norway.  This is one of many places Oslo has a tribute LGBTQ and the fight for human rights and acceptance.  At this spot they have used flowers. It's not only pretty, it's also information about how flowers in history have given a hint of homosexuality.

Sappho violets - Sappho (c. 630 - c. 570), fabled as the world’s first known lesbian, and from Lesbos, and there is also history connected to pansy, green carnation and lavender.
