Sunshine

Went to the tip. Always something I look forward to. It was quiet. There was no sunshine today but at the Sunshine Cafe, very close to the Household Waste Disposal Site, they serve it on plates.There are no sea views, no fancy decking, no palm trees, just truckers breakfasts with eggs sunny side up. It sits in a potholed unmade car park, and would not be out of place in an American road movie. One of Paignton ‘s  hidden gems, blipped before on a previous visit to the tip. See above. My brother also loved going to the tip but he called it the dump. Depends where you live. Time was when a tip visit provided real excitement. They are organised and supervised now, and visits booked online.
