Suited and booted

Back to London fully suited and booted for the first time in two and a half years. I am  chairing an interview panel today and tomorrow. It was good to see that the  scaffolding has come down from Big Ben. The famous clock tower is looking very good after its major restoration project  I didn't hear the bell sounding, though, which I normally do where the interview venue is located in Westminster. Perhaps the restoration project isn't finished yet. Westminster and the South Bank around the London Eye was teeming with tourists, so that much hasn't changed but quite a few of the shops and eats places around Petty France have closed.
