And the rain came (finally)

Still warm for much of the day but the rain (and the thunder and lightning) did eventually come at about five o’clock today. And it is still going. It scuppered a plan with the bestest friend to try and get back on track with running but it was very welcome to (hopefully) lower the temperature and give the garden a much needed water.

No running but I was a bit more productive today. Bailey had his longest walk for a while with a cooler morning than we’ve had for a while. I replanted the front pots and made banana bread with the bananas that were also feeling the heat. And a bit more A-Level prep too.

Into work tomorrow for a few hours and then A-Level results on Thursday. Productivity will definitely need to increase.
