Mackerel

S first day back at sgoil-àraich. We rode the bike down to the gate for her lift and I found myself at home alone at 8:45 with an empty house and no real plans - bliss. I gave the house a really good clean whilst listening to my new audiobook. J popped over to swap some of our veg for his duck eggs and mackerel he’d caught. I filleted the mackerel, coated them in oats and parsley and fried them in butter - delicious. This afternoon I picked S up from the village and enjoyed hearing about her day and what she did with her friends. This evening we had a good productive team Q meeting.
