Wet Wednesday

It has rained all day and there is surface flooding, slips and more serious flooding causing evacuations around the area.  My little street is fine but is rather gloomy.  I stood on the deck and caught this little fantail.  It comes around several times a day to hunt for insects near the compost bins.  Note to self put the camera on the tripod.  I was looking back over my bird photos and some of the best ones were when I used the tripod.
