Kilted Soldier

Situated at Stirling Castle, this statue was erected in memory of the soldiers of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders who "lost their lives in the service of their country" during the Boer War between 1899 and 1902.

I have been up to the castle umpteen times, but today was the first time I've noticed this poignant statue.
