Liana jumps and pole jumps

It was a surprise to hear rain when I woke up! The whole day was cloudy and rainy, but it also was hot.

Emma left to Helsinki in the morning to see her friends. I had a lovely afternoon with hubby and Peetu, we went to see Lars Holmström's exhibition in the Art Gallery Saskia and then had a stroll. The yard of Pyynikin aikamatkat in Kaakinmaa offered interesting photography opportunities, as always!

In the evening we watched the European Championships. Finland's pole-vaulter Wilma Murto cleared the 4.85 m bar, won the gold medal  and set a new national record. This was the first time after 16 years, when a Finn won a medal other than javelin in European Championships. Wilma Murto was is also the first Finnish female to win any EC medal in over 20 years.

+29 C, cloudy and rainy
