Vampyr

To the State Library for a 90th anniversary screening of a new restoration of Vampyr (Denmark, 1932), in German with English subtitles. Lots of squares and rectangles, framed shots and bars of light, and a hard-to-follow story.

Characters wandered in and out, as if in a dream, much like the bus ride home.
