The Green Man

Pete arrived for a visit this morning.  We walked over to The Commandery Cafe for a coffee before lunch then took a walk along the riverside and the marina, ending up at Goodroots for a beer.  It was nice to catch up as we haven't seen him for quite a while.

When we were at Homebase the other day Ann bought some paint, plus a sampler.  She used the sampler on all four walls to see how it looks.  I was taken by this particular one which looked uncannily human like, or maybe it's just my vivid imagination!  Anyway, a suitable candidate for Abstract Thursday hosted by Ingeborg.  Not on theme, but hey ho.

Ann's gone off to a local history talk this evening, leaving Pete and I to our own devices.
