sugar hit

I have no idea what is so attractive about the seed pods on this tree in the local Woolies car park, but said tree was heaving with galahs, munching on them like patrons at Maccers late on a Saturday night.
(In long past Liverpool uni days, this would be a side trip to the chippy and chinese on the long staggerwalk home after a night at the pub)

At one point there were at least 30 of them jostling for space and then at some secret bird signal, they all headed off like hoons at traffic lights just turned green, with a great deal of yelling and shouting.
