Brambles

The first brambles are ripe in our daughter's garden. If you aren't Scottish you'll probably know them as blackberries. They are the wild sort which have colonised part of her hedge. I'm looking forward to baking an apple and bramble crumble as soon as the oven is installed: any day now I hope!
