Still surviving

The only cygnet produced on this stretch of water this year. A strange year, it's been the same for ducks and grebes as well. It's not the drought, that has effected the wetland birds but these are riverbank birds and there's still loads of water in the rivers. There's been no greater river traffic and the same amount of foxes or mink. Something has disturbed things but no one knows what. Hopefully next year is better.
