It has arrived

The promised rain arrived late this evening although it has been a cool grey day in more ways than one.

After a visit to the doc, I finally know why I feel so tired all the time, I have diabetes. It’s been coming on for a whole now and my blood test results confirm that I haven’t been paying enough attention to what I put in my mouth. This is now serious and I really must pay more heed to those little extras I eat long after D retires.

On the upside our neighbour to the left of us said we should start picking those lovely rosy apples growing on her tree but hanging into our garden. The one I tasted was delicious.
