Back at Shelly’s

It’s the first night at Shelly’s since May 23rd when they began putting in sheet rock and painting. That’s now complete, finally, but the floors have yet to be scheduled, let alone done. All this due to frozen pipes in the fire sprinkler system on January 1st. Such is life in this pandemic world. Supply chain delays. Not enough available workers, etc. etc. etc.

Shelly’s recovering well from his hip replacement on June 1st. And we both found living together for almost three months quite easy and good. That doesn’t mean we’re going to move in. We both love our private time and space. But it’s nice to know we could if we wanted to.
