Housemates, Edinburgh, late 70s.

I’m on a roll with this now, so here is the story. When I was a student I knew someone who did his own developing and printing. He duly taught me, and I experimented by taking shots of my flatmates and developing them in the bathroom. I hung around in the kitchen in Argyle Place with my second hand Minolta SRT 101, waiting until people looked relaxed. I guess they got used to me. These two collages contain some of my favourite portraits. The second one, bottom right is me and my best pal Peter in Berlin. Photographer unknown. (Probably a lady friend of Peter.) The second extra is my heavy metal Minolta. Nostalgia isn't what it used to be!
