Berry at Brodgar

We took a walk around the back of the Ring of Brodgar with Berry enthusiastically sniffing for Neolithic bunnies. She's a lot easier to control with fences either side so here she is looking angelic having had three passes up and down this path! Extras are Berry and the lead somehow flying through the air but showing how fast she is! Plus the stones looking majestic as always. 

The Ness archaeological dig never ceases to amaze. It's easy to get blasé and just think of the place as piles of stones but we have come to realise that the tours run by Visit Scotland guides are worth their weight in gold (but they're free!), even in dreich weather. More fascinating info and a look at areas previously lying dormant, excavation-wise.

We finally trundled home. I really want wanting to go but commitments press ...
