ECHEVERIA “Party Dress”

Because it is late August & we are in the midst of a severe drought, here in Southern California, it was difficult to find a Blip for Flower Friday. Angus & I took the long
walk, but there was not many flowers to be found. Even the roses, along the fences,
were bedraggled.

Sometime it pays to look in my own garden.
When we arrived home, I saw this
blooming succulent in my front garden,
under a Crepe Myrtle tree.

ECHEVERIA “Party Dress” is an ornamental
succulent, that likes full sun & is a great host for pollinators & hummingbirds.
It got its name, “Party Dress” from its colorful, frilly edged foliage.

It is a great indoor plant, too.
