Wrybill plovers coming in to land

The sea is very stormy today and the river is in high flood, so the birds which usually spend time in the rivers were on the beach.These are the only birds in the world with a right twisting beak, using for poking under stones looking for food. They are endemic to New Zealand. In extra the beak is clearer.
