Oh, I do like to birthday beside the seaside

Summer holiday 2022 day 3

Somebody is another year older and seems to be very happy about it. We all had a birthday breakfast while Aaron opened his cards and presents then it was off to Margate for a day at the beach. The weather was lovely when we got there and Aaron, Owen and Louisa went for a swim in the sea and I tried to make a sand castle that Owen had great fun destroying*. Unfortunately it started to rain later on although thankfully we missed the mega downpour as we decided to pack up.

Then later we went for a birthday meal at The Pearson's Arms and Owen taught himself to walk along the promenade wall* while everybody was having pudding.
