Currier Museum of Art

A visit to the Currier Museum in Manchester, NH with cousins Joe and Rhonda.  I wanted to see the work of Arghavan Khosravi, an Iranian artist now living in the US, who creates surrealist, mixed media paintings that explore themes of exile, freedom, and empowerment.  It was worth the 2-hour drive to see her amazing work.  We also saw a lovely quilt exhibit with a few Gee's Bend quilts and a work by famous story quilt artist, Faith Ringold.  We had a lovely lunch in the courtyard cafe of the museum.  I've added 3 extra photos of other paintings by Khosravi.  They were truly stunning.
