Sometimes your Blip comes calling

This creature landed on our front door while we were trying to dismantle an old wooden plant tub. It didnt seem very anxious to leave, even after being close up  and personal with my short macro lens, I'd have had ample time to set up tripod and flash but they were indoors and upstairs, not something that I'll rush.
Accoprding to a marvellous phone app, this is Elasmostethus, a Birch bug.
