Woods

We went for a lovely long walk through the woods today.  The light was beautiful.  Some of the trees have an autumnal tinge to them and there are some fallen leaves on the ground. I suppose it's a defence mechanism in response to the drought.  I'm sure it's not what Thames Water has in mind, but we have been watering our pots with a hosepipe today so that they are as ready as possible for the hosepipe ban next week.
