City of dreams

I have always wanted to visit Venice. When I was a small child my mother took a group of her pupils to Venice, and I had to remain at home. I have wanted to go there ever since, but never managed it until now. This is the first photo I took of the Grand Canal upon arrival. Many thanks to the 4 lovely ladies who accompanied me on my dream trip!
