Keep it alive

Really blustery rainy day today, but dried up a bit in the afternoon so we strolled along to the local village fete.

Lots of cool quirky stuff like the bat watch people, some pretty good music from local groups & brass bands, plus animals from boa constrictors to prize heifers! The stuff i always love though is the people who keep the old traditions alive. This guy was making fence panels, splitting the wood to weave through a frame of branches.

Always promise myself i will spend some time in the summer learning something like this... always ends up being, "perhaps next year".

Still good fun to watch though :)
