The butterflies and bees are still enjoying the verbena flowers - another plant that has coped admirably without any rain!  Maybe I just need a garden of Verbena in the future!

More garden pottering this morning albeit at a slower pace as tiredness kicked in! Trying to use up earth from the compost heap to mulch various parts of the garden that have suffered these past couple of months, and then was actually nice to sit in the garden this afternoon to read!
