Drifting gently to the end

I was grateful for a bed in Lucy’s B&B and a good night’s sleep. Egg bagels for breakfast followed by a walk to the Poetry Pharmacy for Lucy’s workshop. I took the opportunity for a coffee and a bit more book browsing before a stroll around BC and a bit of reading and writing back at the accommodation.

A lovely drive back and the actually wonderful feeling of unpacking the camping gear for the last time this year. I have had the most wonderful summer but I don’t intend to leave Shrewsbury again for a good little while. And when I do it won’t be in a tent!

And so the summer drifts gently towards the end.
