Kintsugi

My daughter loves this soap dish and sadly it got broken in to four pieces. I asked her if I could repair it using the Kintsugi principles. She is thrilled with how it has turned out.

“Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken ceramics with gold lacquer. It is a manifestation
of the principle of wabi-sabi, which teaches us to embrace and celebrate imperfection, impermanence
and incompleteness. It has is origins in 15th century Japan but its influence on art and design is still strong.”
