Passenger seat

A lot of space in my car. Passenger seat usually occupied by Gyp but now a basketful of useful things for the journey.

Service stations crowded but all seem to have fruit stalls so I indulged inkirabelles and muscat hrapes.

Breakfast at MacDonalds was truely disgusting and had to stop at next service station to have decent coffee.

Long hot drive but OK going south. Some tailbacks on carriageway north.

Arrived at gîte at 16h as arranged by phone. Long information session given by pleasant owners of my duties, etc. So didn't have time for much needed shower before son and family arrived! Lovely to see them again. All very tired so early to bed.
