Argyll Art Trail

A busy but enjoyable day. My daughter had planned a route for us on the Art Map trail that started today in the local area. We began in Lochgilphead then went to see the wonderful work of a textile artist near Kilmartin. We then drove to another studio near Duntrune Castle, which was used in the filming of Skyfall. This studio was right beside the castle gardens and had the most amazing view from an upstairs window. Of course we had to wander round the gardens. They were beautiful and for more an unexpected bonus.
It was then time for Lando to be fed so we stopped at Polly's horse box at Lock 10 and also had coffee and cake. From there we drove to Tayvallich to see our final artist of the day. After a little walk through the village it was time for us to go to the Tayvallich Inn for our evening meal. You have to book a table to eat here and the food was delicious. 
Home again in time for Lando's bath who had been the most perfect little boy all day.
