21 Days

This morning I was feeling thoroughly uninspired - one of these days. The challenge was "Time". Whilst walking through the fields and some ruins, on the lookout for where my ducks might be nesting, I was thinking about what time meant to me. Change, abandonement, decay, dust - I took about 200 photos of spider webs, old rusty chains, overgrown implements, all in monochrome and all very dour. On the way home I checked in the henhouse and found that I had my first broody hen. I suddenly felt much more colourful. It's going to take exactly 21 days for the chicks to hatch - keeping my fingers crossed :)
