After the rain

Been to work today with the heating on full bore so didn't really take any notice of the weather til lunchtime - went out and felt the chill factor of that wind full in the face - lovely blue skies but still sooooo cold.

On the way home there was the most humungus downpour and I had to sit in the car for about 10 minutes until it had subsided a bit before making a run for the front door. Then the sun came out so I took the camera for a quick spin round the garden but could only find the primroses in a reasonable condition to blip - most of the daffs and tulips are on the wane now and then it rained again and all the blossom was drenched and definitely didn't look at its best.

Better news though: "Hopalong" (resident disabled wood pigeon) has found himself a husband/wife/lover/partner, or whatever and I had hoped that I could have caught them in the bird bath taking a shower together, as I did yesterday but they are nowhere to be seen this evening - typical!!
