Leatherhead Bridge

A favourite view of Leatherhead Bridge but it looks very different with the water so low. This is downstream from my picture a few weeks ago where the river bed was dry. I was very surprised to see what looks like stepping stones on the right. I have scoured my local history books to find out about them, but can find no mention.
