Swinging towards summer

We have reached the point in the spring when our kitchen fills with sun as it come round the west gable of our south-facing block of flats in the early evening. At the moment that gives us about 2.5 sunny hours and makes this the best room in the house.

It also gives my grandparents' German marriage clock a chance to glow and shine.
