Ham House

I had to go to Kingston today to get a new wire for my hearing aid. It's not far but it's not a great journey either with lots of 20mph zones and one way streets.

So Neil and I made a day of it. We had lunch in Kingston, sitting outdoors near the hearing aid shop, then we visited the Bentall Centre, where we haven't been for over two years, and afterwards we went on to Ham House.

It was a bit more than I could really cope with and my hips started playing up but it was a nice day all the same. Ham House has some lovely architecture. The blip is of the herb drying room, which was just after you leave the house. It smelled heavenly of lavender.
