Village Pond

Went into Barton today to the usual hairdresser beside the village pond - and I was amazed to find it completely dry - and it had been for some time. That really brought the drought home to me!! Apparently some of the local men had collected the fish before it went quite dry, and so they will be returned when - and if!! - it returns to normal. It was a very dismal sight!
