Lone Gull

Finally got my RF 100-500mm lens back from repair after twelve weeks. I could hear the pair of spoilt young buzzards calling so tried it out on them first and got some decent in-flight shots. I was taking pics of Jack heron when I saw him peer up into the sky and wondered why. He had spotted this juvenile gull which circled the lake a few times. I think the sight of Jack, Ollie dog and me deterred it from landing and off it flew.
