The Chapter House

Our friends John and Jennie came to visit us today.  We had a cup of tea and a chat then walked to The Slug and Lettuce in the city centre where I had booked a table for lunch.

We had a good lunch and drink then left to visit the cathedral. By this time it had started to rain which continued for the rest of the day. After coffee at their cafe we had a look around including a visit to The Chapter House,  built in the 12th century it is thought to be the first round Chapter House in the world. The picture shows part of it with Jennie and Ann having a chat.

'Something Historic' is the theme for today's Wide Wednesday hosted by BobsBlips.
